An Engagement and a Stalker

Phone calls have been central to my crazy week. First, I got a phone call from my sister saying she had something to tell me. I was suspicious right away. When I heard from her I found out that she is engaged. Did I mention that my sister is 17? Yep, she is 17. And her fiancé is 20, in the Marines and soon to be shipped out to Iraq. He is going there for a year and they are going to be married after he comes back. Oh yeah, and her fiancé is a Republican. From Texas. Ugh.

I guess I always thought I would be engaged/married first and Ashley would have kids first. I guess that won’t happen. Just as long as things aren’t switched and I am the first to have kids. Oy Vey.

The second phone call involved a guy who apparently was staying in my hotel. He called my room and told me that he saw me, thought I was hot, and asked the front desk who I was. They “apparently” told him my room number. So he called me. He was heading home to Reading and just wanted to call and tell me how pretty I was. He wants to get to know me. Now normally I would be flattered, BUT, I went down and asked the front desk about it. They told me it was hotel policy to not tell people room numbers. Which I knew and was the reason I went down to ask about it. The guy at the front desk also said no body asked about me. So how did he get my room number? The only thing I can think of is that he followed me up to my room and saw which one I went into. And he has been calling me ever since. A little creepy, no?

ok, first let me say this...I guess I never really use republican/democratic as a label...but that's because labels are pretty narrow...now if I call myself a BULLSCRICKER than that's cool...

yeah the stalking thing is pretty disturbing...Thank God, I have my own place...

I have never felt the fear that women feel because I never think of being stalked by a dude and if a woman stalked me, well, it hasn't happened...

I'm so country I spit dirt...yeehaa..."This is my town..." just singin''

ha ha ha...
