Fall to Pieces

God, it’s been a long few days. There is nothing like the feeling of being let down by someone that you trust. Not just trust but someone that you turn too when life is getting tough. Sometimes something happens that makes you realize how much you really mean to a person. And sadly, it’s not as much as you thought...

I’ll be better in a few days

Closer

Watched the movie Closer last night.

I really related to the Nataile Portman character. More than I think I should have...

I wish I could disappear to London for a few years.

But, now I'm depressed.

And I hate men.

And Love.

I guess that is not very different from normal though, is it?

Grad School??

I’m in a bit of a dilemma. If I want to go to grad school or law school I need to get my ass in gear. I haven’t taken my GRE’s or LSAT’s yet. So step one is getting them out of the way. Then I need to start looking at schools. If I want to go in Fall ’06 I need to really get moving.

BUT, do I really want to go? I make a rather decent paycheck now. It’s going to be hard to go back to only making $5000 a year. I have gotten accustomed to my life style. Going out and buying several CD’s a week, nice dinners out, expensive clothing, shoes… Giving that up is going to be tough.

I still want to go to grad school. Getting my PhD has been a dream of mine for years. When people told me that going to the real world then back to school was going to be tough, they weren’t kidding. So will I go back? Definitely. Will it be next year? Now I’m not so sure.

The Flamer

I saw a guy standing outside a Sheetz today who was wearing crazy shorts. Hey were yellow with red flames out lined in orange. I then noticed his leather jacket with the same red and orange flames painted on the sleeves. Looking up, he was wearing a matching bandana. Looking down, matching boots. Coming up from the boots, I thought I saw matching socks. Then I realized that they were tattoos…

Having a good chuckle to myself, I glanced around the parking lot only to notice a matching motorcycle…

These people up here are a little crazy.

I should have taken a picture...

What's My Age Again?

The guy at the photo counter looked shocked when he checked my ID and saw that I am 23. He told me that I look 26. It was then my turn to be the one who was shocked. I have always looked younger that I actually am, I guess my grown up clothes really make me look like a grown up. Either that or this job is prematurely ageing me... I think it’s the job.

Orgasm Day!

Town in Brazil declares orgasm day...
A small town in Northeast Brazil usually known for its conservative religious views declares Orgasm Day a holiday. The Mayor of town Felipe Santolia endorsed the May 9 holiday, which he said was intended to improve relationships between married couples.
SF gate reports...
"We're celebrating orgasm in all its senses. There's even a panel discussion on premature ejaculation. But from what I've seen, women have more trouble achieving orgasm than men, especially in marriage," Santolia said by telephone from Esperantina, 1,300 miles north of Rio de Janeiro.
Orgasm Day celebrations include a series of panel discussions by sexologists from across Brazil and a presentation of Eve Ensler's play "The Vagina Monologues."
Santolia said the idea of celebrating Orgasm Day at first created a scandal in this poor region, known for its religious fervor. But he said residents gradually residents warmed to the idea.
"I've seen scientific studies that show when a woman is unloved, when her husband can bring her to orgasm, it affects all aspects of her life, her relationships with her children, at home, with the city and at work," Santolia said.
Like whoa!

Revamped

Ok, let’s just get to it. My life is boring. I work 10-12 hours a day 7 days a week with the same four people. I have been doing this since January. This is the main reason that I haven’t written much lately. I don’t really have anything much to write about. SO, I am revamping this site.

My new idea is to try to write daily, but only a thought. It may be something funny someone said, a random thought, song lyrics, a poem, a picture, a new paper article, etc. If something really awesome happens then I may write something longer.

I guess this is just an exercise to get me to write everyday as well as giving you something amusing to read. So, to quote my boss… “Here we go”
